Editorial policy
Foresight publishes original articles on any aspect of expert evidence,
drawn from any discipline, directed to a legal readership. This journal does not aim to preach to lawyers on the ways they could improve their relationships with experts. Rather, articles will be accepted if they seek to educate the legal profession on new aspects of a discipline that could affect the way the lawyer proceeds with a case or frames a letter of instruction. For example:
- In what ways could a lipreader help with a case where CCTV footage is available of an assault?
- What important new evidence has come to light recently on the symptoms associated with shaken baby syndrome?
- If a lawyer has a fractured piece of metal, e.g. a rung from a ladder, what non-destructive tests can be performed to analyse the reasons for the fracture?
The publisher retains full editorial control and reserves the right to edit submissions to conform to the style of the journal. No article will be published without the author signing off the final proof, which
will incorporate any editorial changes.
The publisher has sole control over the position of the article within the publication and the placing of adverts in relation to that article. In addition, the publisher may defer publication of an article to achieve a better mix of subject matter in a given issue.
Typescripts
Papers are expected to be no more than 1,600 words in

modify manuscripts that do not conform to scientific, technical, stylistic
or grammatical standards, and minor alterations of this nature will normally
be seen by authors only at the proof stage.
