Guaranteed multiple adverts (minimum 4, to run in consecutive issues): 10%
For multiple
placement contracts: 5% discount of contract net if the entire contract is paid
in advance of first placement. Multiple insertions must run consecutively to qualify for the discount.
Rate protection: Extended contract
advertising is protected from rate increases for the duration of the
contract.
Mechanical Requirements
- PC format is preferred, although Mac format is accepted.
- The following file types are accepted:
- TIFF files
- EPS files (fonts outlined)
- PDF files with fonts correctly embedded. Corrupt PDFs or
PDFs with incorrectly embedded fonts will be subject to production
charges
- Colour files should be CMYK. Spot colours will be converted to CMYK.
- Collect all support files for ad, including fonts and imports.
- Digital line scans must be at least 1200 dpi, digital photo scans must be at least 300
dpi at actual print size.
- Digital submission is required for all ads.
- Ad art will be accepted on CD, 3.5 floppy, zip disk, or email. J
S Publications is not responsible for files that are corrupt or
become unreadable via internet transfer.
- Please provide
the name and phone number of the ad designer. Be sure to submit a hard
copy of the ad along with the digital files.
- Any additional production time will be billed at £80 per hour.
You will be contacted before any additional charges are incurred.
Flyers
- Flyers must be single self-contained items, i.e. not multiple pieces of paper.
- If your item weighs over 50 g, please call us for a quote.
- Flyers must not exceed the dimensions of Foresight, i.e. 210 x 297 mm.
- Before a flyer is accepted for inclusion in a mailing, it must be vetted and weighed by the publisher.
- The publisher reserves the right to remove the flyer from the mailing, with no notice, should its incorporation cause mechanical problems at the third-party mailing house. In such cases, the client will be refunded the original payment, minus any charges incurred in attempting to include the item.
- The client is responsible for organising delivery of the flyers direct to our offices in Newmarket by the agreed date. If the delivery is late but can still be incorporated in the mailing, the client will incur additional charges relating to extra delivery costs from Newmarket to the mailing house. If the flyers miss the mailing, the client will be charged a cancellation fee which is 20% of the originally agreed cost of including the flyer.
