Expert witness survey 2007
The latest in our biannual surveys of the expert witness community

Gathering data on areas such as instruction rates, changes in types of work and expert fees, this survey provides a snapshot of the current state of expert witness practice. When taken in conjunction with the surveys conducted in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 this series of surveys provides the very best source of intelligence on the changing nature of expert witness work.

This series of surveys proved invaluable when some of the more extravagant figures produced by others (who ought to have know better) were adopted by the LSC in their consultation paper looking at the Use of experts. If for no other reason, we would urge you to contribute to this survey so the 'establishment' can be presented with accurate data.

Carried out: Spring/Summer 2007
