Marie Davies spent over 10 years as a Reporting Officer at the former Home Office Forensic Science Service (FSS) specialising in sexual offences, and 14 years as a Reporting Scientist and Manager in testing laboratories specialising in hair, nail, blood and oral fluid testing. Marie Davies has reported and peer reviewed over 20,000 cases, with expertise in the interpretation of all areas of drug and alcohol testing, including child cases and drug-facilitated crimes.

Dr Escriu leads a clinic of patients with thymoma, thymic carcinoma and mesothelioma, and contributes to the care of patients with neuroendocrine tumours of the lung. 50% of his clinical activity is dedicated to the care of patients with 'wild type' lung cancer (with a special interest in immunotherapy). His biological interest lies in the identification of predictive biomarkers of response to therapy within blood circulating extracellular vesicles.
