I am an experienced NHS GP who has been working full time as a GP partner since 2010. Subspecialties include minor surgery in general practice, which I have over 10 years of experience in, and dermatology. I am also a qualified GP appraiser for England-North (Greater Manchester). I have expertise in all aspects of general practice, community dermatology services and minor surgeries/procedures in general practice.

I am a busy clinical dermatologist with wide ranging experience in adult and paediatric dermatology, as well as skin cancers and eczema.

I hold dual accreditation as Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist. I have a Master of Laws degree from the University of Liverpool. I have undergone medico-legal expert training courses and attended court with expertise in general paediatric and paediatric endocrinology cases (25% claimant, 25% defendant, 50% joint). I have provided 100+ medico-legal reports in all aspects of paediatric endocrinology and diabetes, child protection, road traffic accident and clinical negligence. Dr Mian has a broad scope of clinical experience delivering general practice, accruing substantial inpatient and outpatient dermatology experience to establish proficiency using a dermatoscope to diagnose skin lesions and regularly managing a wide range of complex skin conditions. She also has RCGP-accredited training relating to nutrition, allergy, exercise and lifestyle medicine.
