Dr Urbanczyk specialises in injury mechanisms and causation, forensic investigation of road traffic collisions, accident locus inspection, occupant kinematics, pedestrian and pedal cycle accident reconstruction, slip, trip and fall kinematics, seatbelt or helmet use. Dr Urbanczyk is a lecturer for De Montfort University's FdSc Programme in Forensic Collision Investigation (courses in Pedestrian Collision and Driver Environment). Her research focuses on musculoskeletal and orthopaedic biomechanics.
