I have approaching 30 years of experience as a Railway System Safety Engineer and Rail Health and Safety Leader. Particular areas of experience are railway software safety assurance, rail cyber security, safety decision making and safety cost-benefit analysis. In 2016 I gave evidence to the Transport Select Committee on the safety of driver-controlled operation of UK train services.
