Mr Phillips' clinical interests are in endoscopic skull base surgery, cranial neurosurgery, particularly pituitary surgery, trigeminal neuralgia, subarachnoid haemorrhage and radiosurgery. He has also contributed to national policy in radiosurgery.

Mr Carr has a tertiary adult and paediatric ENT practice focusing primarily on otology, neuro-otology, hearing implantation, including cochlear implantation and lateral skull base surgery. He is interested in all aspects of ENT surgery, with a recognised area of specialism in paediatric and adult otology, including congenital and acquired hearing loss, hearing implantation, chronic ear disease, trauma, industrial deafness, tinnitus and balance.
