I am a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with 15+ years’ NHS forensic experience, specialising in mental health, autism and learning disabilities. I assess communication and social cognition, and their impact on risk, behaviour, mental capacity and legal participation. I consider the person as a whole, taking into account the person's context, enviroment and communication partners. I provide practical recommendations to support communication, decision-making and engagement.
