Dr Kishore is involved in the delivery of high-quality hyperacute stroke care, including thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy. He has a special clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of acute cerebrovascular conditions such as acute ischaemic stroke, acute intracerebral haemorrhage, carotid and vertebral artery dissections and TIAs. He is also interested in secondary prevention, understanding the aetiopathogenesis of stroke and the evaluation of embolic strokes of unknown source.

Dr Iyer is an advanced cancer interventionalist who has logged more than 200 medical thoracoscopies and 400 advanced bronchoscopy procedures. He is competent to comment on all aspects of respiratory medicine, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, emphysema, lung cancer, cystic fibrosis/bronchiectasis, pneumonia and pleural effusion. He is also competent to comment on polysomnography and complex non-respiratory sleep disorders.

Dr Fonseka has a specialist interest in pleural disease and has sat on the British Thoracic Society national guideline committees for both mesothelioma and pleural disease. Dr Escriu leads a clinic of patients with thymoma, thymic carcinoma and mesothelioma, and contributes to the care of patients with neuroendocrine tumours of the lung. 50% of his clinical activity is dedicated to the care of patients with 'wild type' lung cancer (with a special interest in immunotherapy). His biological interest lies in the identification of predictive biomarkers of response to therapy within blood circulating extracellular vesicles.

Dr Brown has a broad haematology clinical practice managing patients with haematological malignancy, such as myeloma, chronic myeloid leukaemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) and myelodysplastic syndromes. She is the Trust Lead for MPN patients, and has a specialist interest in this area. She also manages general haematology patients, including those with venous thromboembolism (DVT/PE), iron deficiency anaemia and chronic blood abnormalities, such as neutropenia, thrombocytopenia and anaemia.
