I am a full-time NHS interventional cardiologist (percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or angioplasty and stenting) and general cardiologist. I am dual-accredited in general internal medicine. I sit on the BCS national council. I am able to give opinion across the entire range of adult cardiology, with a special interest in: • Angina • Acute coronary syndromes • Myocardial infarction (heart attack) • Valvular heart disease • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)

Dr Byott has a highly developed interest in interventional radiology. He has subspecialist expertise in vascular interventional radiology, including vascular access, paediatric interventional radiology, treatment of arterial disease, venous pathology and haemorrhage control. In addition, he specialises in independently reporting vascular imaging including cardiac/TAVI CT, general CT, ultrasound, contrast studies and core MRI examinations.
