I am extensively published in the field of renal transplantation and dialysis access. I have over 2500 cases in my logbook for specifically this specialty and over 200 renal transplants. I subspecialise in complex dialysis access and am the lead for the service at my hospital in London. I am an expert in the field of organ retrieval, having performed over 250 multi-organ retrieval operations as a lead surgeon for the National Organ Retrieval Service.

Dr Byott has a highly developed interest in interventional radiology. He has subspecialist expertise in vascular interventional radiology, including vascular access, paediatric interventional radiology, treatment of arterial disease, venous pathology and haemorrhage control. In addition, he specialises in independently reporting vascular imaging including cardiac/TAVI CT, general CT, ultrasound, contrast studies and core MRI examinations.
